All Layered Up

First, it was in-your-face statement necklaces. Then, it was barely there baubles. Now, the latest jewelry trend is somewhere in the middle. That's right: It's time to pull those gold, vintage-looking chains and charms out of storage- you know the ones- probably got them from your grandmas jewelry box, because the style that's hanging on the necks of models, creatives, and influencers involves layering a number of pieces to achieve the look. And go ahead mix the old with something new.

Though the style is by no means new, I started noticing it becoming a "thing" about six months ago, around the same time hoops started picking up steam again. But, when I started seeing lariat necklaces, stacking rings, and chokers at all the major jewelry shows, I know it was time to get layered up. Pair yours with a graphic tee, a '90s-style lace camisole, or a tank with a denim jacket and you've got a look that everyone will compliment you on.
